2026 ALPHA WOLF PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM - BLOCK 4

Registrations are now open for the next Alpha Wolf Player Development Program – Block 4.

Alpha Wolf is Wynnum Wolves FC’s small-group player development program, designed for motivated players who want additional high-quality training outside their normal team environment.

The program focuses on developing each player’s technical ability, confidence, decision-making and overall performance through purposeful, high-repetition training in a small-group environment.

This block will run for 6 weeks and will be personally delivered by Jack Hingert and Adam Krayem, Wynnum Wolves FC Academy Boys Director.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Players will train in one of two groups based on their current playing level:

DEVELOPMENT GROUP

Designed for community, MiniRoos and developing players who want to improve their technique, confidence and overall game.

Sessions will provide players with plenty of touches on the ball, repetition, individual coaching and opportunities to develop in a positive and enjoyable environment.

Maximum 10 players per group.

ADVANCED GROUP

Designed for FQ Academy players and other high-performing players looking for additional technical training in a faster, more challenging environment.

Sessions will include increased pressure, tempo, decision-making and game-realistic practices, while continuing to place a strong emphasis on individual technical development.

Maximum 10 players per group.

Please ensure you select the group most suited to your child’s current playing level.

WWFC coaching staff reserve the right to recommend a change of group where required to ensure each player is training in the most appropriate environment.

AGE GROUPS & TRAINING DAYS

U8–U10

Players can select either:

Tuesday
3:45pm–4:30pm

or

Thursday
3:45pm–4:30pm

Players registering for U8–U10 will select their preferred training day during registration.

U11–U13

Wednesday
3:45pm–4:30pm

PROGRAM DATES

The program will run across six consecutive weeks.

Tuesday U8–U10:
20 October – 24 November 2026

Wednesday U11–U13:
21 October – 25 November 2026

Thursday U8–U10:
22 October – 26 November 2026

SESSION TIME

3:45pm–4:30pm

Please arrive a few minutes before the session so players are ready to begin on time.

WHAT PLAYERS WILL WORK ON

Across the six-week block, players will work on a range of technical and game-related areas, including:

Ball mastery

First touch

Passing and receiving

Running with the ball

1v1 attacking

1v1 defending

Striking and finishing

Movement and decision-making

Playing under pressure

Small-sided game situations

The same core themes will be used across both Development and Advanced groups, with the level of pressure, detail, complexity and intensity adjusted to suit the players involved.

COACHING TEAM

Sessions will be delivered by:

Jack Hingert
Wynnum Wolves NPL First Team Player and former Brisbane Roar professional player.

Adam Krayem
Wynnum Wolves FC Academy Boys Director and experienced Academy coach.

COST

Development Group: $165 per player
Advanced Group: $240 per player

Registration includes all six sessions.

Alpha Wolf is deliberately kept small to maximise:

Individual attention

Coaching feedback

Ball contacts

Repetition

Player involvement

Quality of training

Each group is strictly limited to 10 players.

Once a group reaches capacity, registrations for that session will close.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT & FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES

WWFC technical staff may also use the program as an opportunity to identify players who may be suitable for future Wynnum Wolves development and Academy pathway opportunities.

Participation in Alpha Wolf does not guarantee selection into any future WWFC Academy program.

WET WEATHER

In the event a session is cancelled due to weather or field conditions, Wynnum Wolves FC will endeavour to reschedule the session where possible.

A catch-up week may be used following the conclusion of the scheduled block if required.

LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE

With only 10 players available in each Development and Advanced group, places are limited.

We encourage families to register early to secure their preferred day and group.
