PROGRAM DETAILS
Wynnum Wolves FC's FQ Academy Boys teams play in the Football Queensland League 2 competition. Teams are required to train 3-4 times a week as directed by the club's coaching staff. Sessions are generally 60-75 minutes for the 9s - 13s and 90-100 minutes for the 14s - 18s, including pre-season. *Adjustments are made to sessions when required if normal schedules are impacted by wet weather, mid-week games or other scheduling challenges. In addition, compulsory education and information sessions are scheduled for all teams throughout the season. Players are required to commit to ALL program requirements including Strength & Conditioning sessions, education sessions, classroom tactical sessions and rehabilitation sessions [when injured] as directed by the club's Technical Director, coaching staff, physiotherapy and exercise physiology staff. *Entry into FQ Academy Junior & Youth teams is via INVITATION ONLY following individual player assessments and selection trials each season.
COACHING
All FQ Academy programs will be directed and overseen by the club's A Licenced Technical Director, Jay Son. All lead coaches will be accredited coaches as follows: Under 9s - Under 13s - a minimum C Licence or enrolled in a C Licence course; Under 14s - Under 18s - a minimum B Licence or enrolled in a B Licence course.
PROGRAM INCLUSIONS
1. All registration, referee and competition fees. *This excludes the FA/FQ registration fee which is required to be paid directly to FQ via their Squadi registration platform each season.
2. All costs involved with pre-season and competition games.
3. Apparel as listed below:
1 x training kit [shirt, shorts, socks]

1 x NAIDOC Jersey
1 x Club Polo
1 x Dress Shorts
1 x Track Jacket or Quarter Zip
1 x Track Pants
1 x Backpack
*All additional club apparel and merchandise items to be purchased from the club at own cost.
4. Qualified Sports Trainer in attendance at all training sessions + home games.
5. Qualified Exercise Physiology staff to conduct S&C sessions integrated into the club's training programs + off-season and wet weather programs.
6. Rehabilitation prescription and supervision by specialist staff is integrated into the club's training programs.
*Any additional physiotherapy and exercise physiology services outside of designated club training sessions will incur an additional cost by these providers.
7. Education sessions such as nutrition, injury prevention and awareness, S&C education, tactical and video sessions are offered as part of the program.
8. Access to club wellness program / platform to assist player with their off-field health and wellbeing management as a compulsory use service provided by the club.
9. 3-4 player goalsetting / review / feedback interviews are held throughout the year.
10. Parent information sessions + invitations to education sessions are offered.
11. Access to specialist coaching sessions, as organised by the club's Technical Director throughout the season.
12. Pre-season camp for all Academy teams - dates and times TBA for 2024.
PROGRAM EXCLUSIONS
- Football Australia / Football Queensland Governing Body Registration Fees paid via Squadi.
- Any player fines incurred
PROGRAM COST FOR ALL THE ABOVE
$2500 [Inclusive of GST] for Under 9s - Under 13s and $2600 [Inclusive of GST] for the Under 14s to Under 18s.
Important to note: Any player who accepts a position but fails to commit fully to the requirements of the program will NOT be guaranteed equal game time and may be asked to leave the FQ Academy stream and move to a community football team which will requires a lower commitment level from players.
PAYMENT OUTLINES
25% of the total payment cost [either $2500 or $2600] is due upon acceptance of an offer to join a Wynnum Wolves FC Academy team. This must be paid no later than the Expiry of Offer date which appears on the official Letter of Offer. The balance of these fees is then payable via a payment plan on the club's Majestri registration system. Payment plans can be set up on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis upon acceptance and registration with the club, with the final instalment to be paid no later than March 31st, 2024.
Upon receipt of your Acceptance of offer the club will email details about the registration process on Majestri and advise all payment details. . The club's registrar will advise all players / parents when Football Queensland's registration system opens in the New Year. NB: Final clearance to play in the 2024 season Academy competition cannot be activated by WWFC until players complete their Play Football and Squad registration with FQ and pay the Governing Body fees.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The club does NOT offer any refunds - except in exceptional circumstances - once player agreements are finalised for the 2024 season.
